The mission of Camp Wiregrass is to provide a safe, Christian environment where young people can enjoy wholesome activities and come to know God as Creator, Father, and Friend. Camp Wiregrass is a nonprofit Christian camp supported by Churches of Christ and generous individuals who wish to keep the mission alive and well. You can be part of the mission with your tax deductible contributions too. Contributions can be broken down into four areas:

  1. General Donations- not earmarked for a particular purpose
  2. Scholarships-which help campers needing assistance to attend camp. A full tuition scholarship is $95 but partial scholarships in any amount are always welcomed.
  3. Memorials-honor a deceased loved one with the family receiving a note of acknowledgment.
  4. Construction Contributions -Camp has several construction/renovation projects planned and underway. Funds received with “Construction” notation will go to these projects (Please contact us for additional Information on the projects).

Simply print out a "Help Camp Wiregrass" form, complete it, attach your check and mail to Camp Wiregrass. Thank you in advance for your help!

Bath House Project

For almost four decades now Camp Wiregrass has been a part of the lives and hearts of thousands of people. Most of our original structures are still in existence and are being used today. Earlier in 2007 we began the first phase of improvements and repairs to structures around the camp.

We have begun work on phase two, the bath house project. Though we had originally planned to demolish and replace the structures, a cost analysis revealed that refurbishing them would be less expensive. Although it will cost less, we are still looking at a $200,000 venture!
